Staff reach out to local communities on annual charity day

Trident Group offer a number of care and support services including mental health, domestic abuse learning disabilities, homelessness, registered care and young people services.

On the International Day of Charity, taking place each year on 5 September, Trident Group held a community event titled called “Reach Up Day”. This event gave services within the Group the opportunity to promote what they do and offer support and advice to residents, customers and service users in their local community.

The day also acknowledged International Day of Charity giving the Group the opportunity to showcase the great work that Trident Reach, the charity arm of the Group, do on a daily basis.

The theme for this year was Reaching the Community and the services did just that through a number of events held within the regions that Trident Group covers, which included a drop-in surgery for people to get advice in Birmingham, an Open Day as well as a DIY workshop in Sandwell and a marketplace event held at the Swadlincote Town Hall in Derbyshire which offered advice and support around wellbeing, domestic abuse, mental health and housing.
